The 2001 winter Klondike derby this year was very different than it has been in
the past.  The sled race was turned into more of an endurance race since we
had to go through more deep snow and through more woods .  There was a lot more
snow on the ground that we had to shovel.  The overall weekend experience
turned out pretty good.  We ate nutritious chili which I think everyone
enjoyed.  We played capture the flag at night and had plenty of snow ball
fights.  Everyone had a great time even though it might have been a little
cold.

Note to Troop 410 Parents
We are requesting that all parents come into the Legion before taking
scouts home from meetings. Sometimes events and details change and we need to update parents. We want to keep parents informed as much as we can, and this will cut down on many phone calls!
